McLean, VA — PBG announced today that it has been awarded a prime contractor position under Functional Category 1 (FC1): IT Management Services on the U.S. Department of State’s EVOLVE contract, a $10 billion multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle that will support the Department’s global enterprise IT mission across more than 270 diplomatic posts worldwide.

EVOLVE represents the Department’s next-generation enterprise IT acquisition strategy, consolidating IT management, cloud and data center services, application development, network and telecommunications, cybersecurity, and end-user support under a single integrated contract vehicle designed to improve enterprise visibility, operational effectiveness, and mission execution.

PBG was awarded a prime position within Functional Category 1 (FC1)—the strategic management layer of EVOLVE responsible for enterprise IT governance, portfolio management, enterprise architecture, capital planning and investment control, cybersecurity governance, IT financial management, performance measurement, risk management, and executive decision support. Through FC1, the Department will strengthen oversight of its IT enterprise, improve investment decisions, and enhance accountability across its global technology portfolio.

The award builds on more than a decade of PBG’s partnership with the Department of State, where the company has helped senior leaders strengthen IT governance, improve investment planning, enhance financial management, and transform complex operational and financial data into actionable decision intelligence.

“This award is the culmination of four years of pursuit and more than a decade of trusted partnership with the Department of State,” said Pawla Ghaleb, Chief Executive Officer of PBG. “We’ve had the privilege of helping Department leadership connect strategy to execution through stronger governance, better financial management, and informed decision-making. We know this customer, we understand its mission, and we’re honored to continue supporting the Department as it modernizes one of the world’s most complex global IT enterprises.”

As federal agencies continue to modernize under increasing demands for efficiency and accountability, PBG remains committed to helping government leaders strengthen enterprise governance, optimize technology investments, and deliver measurable mission outcomes.
